Options for End of Book Assignment

1)   The Author

Take on the role of the author (you will need to research the author’s life) and write a summary of what your book is about, including theme. Then be ready to present yourself to the class, giving details about your background, what motivated you to write this book and name other books you have written. Be prepared to take questions from the class.

2)   Timeline

Make a timeline of the order of events in the book, giving a brief summary of each event.

3)   The Characters

Take on the role of one of the characters in the book, and write a summary of the story from your point of view. Present this to the class and be prepared to answer questions from the class about what you did in the story and why.

4)   Film Trailer

Write a trailer for the book as though it was a film, then make this into a real trailer using I-movie on the i-pad. You need to check wording and images with me before proceeding on the i-padm.

5)   Acting it out

Choose a scene from the book, write out the script and act it out.
