Connects curriculum to the world in a variety of ways:
 Examples:
1) Students draw a big world map on the playground using a compass, then find there position on it.
2) Students brought in spices and teas which would have been traded on the Spice Route, then had a tea party using tea and treats made with the spices.
3) Students made a presentation on the ancient civilisation of their choice, and provided food that would have been consumed in that time. They sent out invitations to some staff members.
4) Visit to science museum
5) Using maths by collecting data from middle school, then charted and displayed the data in different forms.
6) Made tessellations during religion to introduce the idea of geometry.
7) Had many science experiments which required measuring, decimal division and multiplication.
